Recently, Fujian Tenlead Advanced Material Co., Ltd. equipped its material testing laboratory with a high-frequency infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer, with installation and commissioning completed by Syens engineers. The equipment will primarily be used for carbon and sulfur element testing in hard carbon materials.

Hard carbon is a common carbon anode material widely used in the field of new energy batteries. Its structural characteristics make the material’s performance closely related to the content of carbon and sulfur elements:
Carbon content affects the material’s electrical conductivity and energy storage performance;
Sulfur content, if not properly controlled, may adversely affect electrochemical performance and cycle life.
Therefore, accurate and rapid carbon-sulfur testing of hard carbon materials is a critical step in ensuring performance stability and production consistency.
The high-frequency infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer employs a high-frequency combustion-infrared absorption analysis method, enabling rapid acquisition of carbon and sulfur content data. Compared to traditional testing methods, its advantages include:
Strong applicability to hard carbon materials: Capable of meeting the high combustion requirements of carbon-based materials;
Reliable test results: Meets the quality control needs in the research, development, and mass production of new energy materials;
Improved efficiency: Provides rapid results, supporting data needs for research progress and production processes.
With the equipment officially put into use, Fujian Tenlead Advanced Material Co., Ltd. will achieve stricter quality control in the research, development, and production of hard carbon materials, providing testing assurance for product performance stability.
